Health Data
Last updated June 20, 2026
Optimeno is built around the health and wellness information you choose to share. Because that information is sensitive, this page explains, in addition to our Privacy Policy, how we treat it.
1. What we mean by health data
Health data refers to the sensitive information you voluntarily provide to personalize your experience, including symptoms, mood, sleep, menstrual and menopause-related details, notes, and any metrics imported from a wearable device you connect. You are never required to provide health data, but the Services become more useful the more you choose to share.
2. How we use health data
We use your health data for a single, clear purpose: to personalize Optimeno for you. It powers your routine, your trends and weekly insights, your reminders, and the summaries you can choose to export and share with your own healthcare provider. We do not use health data for advertising, and we never sell it.
3. Your consent and control
You control your health data. You decide what to log and which devices to connect, you can edit or delete individual entries, and you can export or permanently delete all of your data at any time from your account or by emailing us. Disconnecting a device stops further data from that source.
4. Disclosure of health data
We disclose health data only in two situations: when you explicitly direct us to (for example, generating a report to share with your provider), and where disclosure is required by law. We share health data with service providers only to the extent necessary to operate the Services and under contractual confidentiality obligations.
5. Optimeno is not a medical record
Optimeno is a wellness tool, not a healthcare provider, electronic health record, or covered entity under HIPAA. The information you store with us supports your own care and conversations with your provider, but it is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Please review our Disclaimer.
